I've had Photoshop CS2 for about 6 weeks and it has worked fine but then last week it started freezing up whenever I went to create a new document and sometimes when I went to open a document.

So I uninstalled it and re-installed it last night and it worked fine.
Then this morning the same error happens again, time after time. When I restart my computer it doesn't make any difference whatsoever.

Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it.
I am dying without Photoshop

Thanks in advance

Check which plugins you have installed, it could be that, or a corrupt brush

Thank you will do :D

Ok It hasn't made any difference, I uninstalled all brushes, I had no extra plugins to start with. I uninstalled and reinstalled once again and still I'm getting this error.
Anyone else have any ideas as to what may be casuing this problem?

Ok I went to the adobe site and they no longer give one to one e-mail support apparently. I've been reading through their troubleshooting but I can't find anything useful to me.
I found a thread in a support forum from a guy who had the same problem with some of his applications, one of which was Photoshop but he was a Mac user so I couldn't really rlate to the solution.

If all else fails, you can call Adobe's Technical Support office. They should help you with your problem.

United States and Canada support
http://www.adobe.com/misc/ts.html

International Support

Reinstall the system! Thats my last resort :D

This morning it was working again, I know it'll crash again later so I'm going to give adobe international a call.

Thanks for your help everyone..

KIWI :)
