I dunno but is this even possible? i want a layout where if you push a button only the text loads into the text area and not have the whole site load again. is there anyway possible to do this? teh area is expandable, so i can't use i frames... i don't know how to link it

when you put more text in it it gets bigger. I used to use Iframes but that won't do the trick. i need to know how to link to and external (text) webpage

with i frames you would have like

<iframe src="http://www.watever.com/whatever.html" name="whatever etc.>

k let's see, maybe this will make it clearer:
I use diaryland, is there anyway to load the entries into a div?
