Lets say I want to make a picture and each corner has a animation.
Here is a example: The colors are the areas of each animation.

yes, is possible
all you have to do is create a empty movie clip, put a instance of that empty movie where you want to place a swf, and load it with a this.loadMovie("movie.swf");
