So instead of talkin on forum and refreshing then we can talk in a live 1-2-1 chatroom
2) I think there should be a section for VB tutorials instead off going under misc
so i can feel special!!!!!!!!!

faken has plenty of bandwith at the moment from what I can tel. Get an effinitly coded PHP chat room and you could be set. Athough I like IRC it uses way to my system resources to be run off of the webserver, is prone to hacking, is prone to illigal acitivtes (warez), and those free channels on other hosts suck.lchat room would use too much bandwidth on the server which is already choked by the site

server is not being choked at all by the site (I attribute it to PHP that is efficient and not bloated- this site is using far less CPU time & memory than other sites which are far less popular, but poorly coded). I do see exponential growth in P2L's future, so it won't be staying on a shared box forever!chat room would use too much bandwidth on the server which is already choked by the site
This is a Dually Xeon 2.8 box / 2gb RAM / SCSI RAID under a 2.6 kernel. Running *very* well. That said, web based chat rooms blow and there's no way an IRC server is going to be running alongside a web server (hello DDOS). Find an IRC network and go the Java client route!. PJIRC is the best java client ive seen: http://www.pjirc.com/main.php - and it's very customizable.
