I'm not known for my cinema 4D skills, i'm using the trial version before deciding to go out and buy the bloody thing. Anyway, this only the second thing I've made, so as you'd expect its basic. Plus the brushing blows, how can I make it better, and does anyone have any good abstract brushing tutorials?

its a little hard to tell how nice it is though only being 400 pixels :P

File saving is part of the trial version crippling. Screenshots are probably the best way to save it, although he should still be able to get a higher res picture than 400px. That is nless he's using some crazy low desktop resolution like 800x600 (surely to the computer gods above he isnt using 640x480!)

Not to be dissin on your settings, but really if you're going to do very much at all in the graphics world then you're going to have to raise your resolution. All applications are designed for higher resolutions these days, with the interfaces and tool layouts. Even at 1440x900 on my laptop I'm constantly wishing I had more space to work with. It's just not possible to be efficient at that low of a resolution.

I'll be running 1600 x 1200 at least on my shiny new 22" monitor arriving on Wed :) That's what happens when you get a vacation pay but don't go anywhere :D
