I am kinda stuck for ideas on my website design.
It is for a company called Lennox which basically aids in the making of 3d apps and websites and maybe might make a few programs in the future.

I have the slightest idea of how to make one of the content boxes, but that's all.

So could anyone post any ideas or a quick sketch on photoshop and maybe some tips, to help me get past this horrible horrible stage of website creation.

It would be much appreciated

: also if you need more information just post because I really am desperate as I have a v.short space of time to get this site on the web...

(And also links to any good cheap host sights, that allow PHP, MYSQL, CGI/Perl and ASP with no banners and available to change DNS so I can buy a .com name)

=======

If I do not reply please PM me

Hm.. Talking about design... There ARE actually some steps to go:
1) Sketches // Or in your mid is aceptable as well :)
2) Concept // Watever concept that suitable for your website, not your theme!
3) Idea // This is also same like theme or whatsoever you called it :D
4) Develop it! :D

Most people goes to the 3rd step when it come to design. Or 2nd step for some proffesional :D That's all :D Sorry for too much to read :D

First I think, what is it for? How big does it need to be? Is it going to expand?

Then I get a general idea in my mind of the different menus and stuff, I then make a sketch using the marquee tool and stroke.

Before I even start designing, I choose a color scheme. I already have a little pallette made out with every color I will use before I begin.

I always tart from the top and work down, as it's easier for me. It's not a fast process, developement of a decent layout should take a while(days sometimes).

Don't rush, no hurry. If you can't seem to think of anything, save and comeback tomorrow. I have some days where I am just oozing creativity, others, I got nothing, nothing will go right, creativity and ideas come and go on their own, you can't make them come all the time.

If it's for a 3d company, the first thing that pops into my head is an Oob (Out of Border) image :)
