This is what i'm actually trying to do, this is like.. the 3rd time i've opened this program. Anyway, i gets to where it says:

"Select the loft nurbs and press C to make it editable. Go to Structure > Extrude and click on the burn and drag to the right, then press delete. Now it should looks like something like what i have to the right"

So, then i think.... wait a minute, this looks absolutely naff all like what it should do (see attatched image), ERROR ERROR.... so, i repeats the tutorial... and like, it's just not playing, totally confusing me and basically making me really... ARGHHH!

Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

You selected Use point tool instead of Use polygon tool - So the points are getting extruded instead of the polygons.

I'm guessing thats the problem here.
