Im considering reformatting my computer cause its just to messed up...

My hardrive that i want to format is NTFS, do you know how i would go about reformatting it? and which windows version would i need to start at to reinstall it all? and would i need to use any boot disks? thxs for ur help! :D

NTFS? Then it's WinXP? For WinXP, clean installing, here are the simplest steps rather than read a long article (Which I did it last time :D)

. Put in WinXP CD and boot your computer

. Change the boot drive to CD-ROM (For some new PC, there are automatic setup on CD_Rom boot, so you can skip this step). Press either "ESC", "DELETE", "F1" or something before starting the window.

. Press ANY KEY when ask whether you want to boot from CD-ROM or not.

. Follow the instruction!

. Voila! You got it :D

Or put a dos disk on your computer, boot up from A drive or whatever drive your floppy disk is at then type the following

Format C:

Replace the C with the primary drive and then put the XP disk in...
