Hello, I'm very new to flash, so forgive the question.
I've searched for such a long time and couldn't find any specific help.

I finished my Motion Tween using 6 layers...fiddled with key-frames etc.
Each is a Graphic Symbol by the way.

When I test it out in the preview, I notice that it just loops again and again.

MY DESIRE: I
That it will play only when someone touches the SWF with their mouse.
And even if they release the mouse, the Flash will play once then stop.


Any help?

put a stop action on the last frame of your animation.
create a invisible button on top of that animation and give the action gotoAndPlay("frame_nr")

But I don't understand the second part of your suggestion.

Let me be specific...

My desire is to have the motion tweening begin if someones mouse touches the banner.
It should play one-time, even if someone releases the mouse from the banner.
Then if they touch the banner again, it shoul start over again.

Can you give me a miracle answer for this request?

I only know how to add music through a button. Basically, I create a rectangle around the area of the project, then upload my sound clip.

Is this the same method for creating the button you told me about?

I got an error when I did it my way and added the actionscript.

just create a button (CTRL+F8) and create a rectangle as big as your banner.
go back to your mainmovie / scene and select the button you just created there you press F9 and you get the actions panel.
then just choose on mouseover gotoAndPlay("1")

Hi, the only "mouseover" I can find is located in the index.
What is the path?

I put: mouseovergotoAndPlay("1")
in the action script, and it didn't do anything.

Hello, yes I found that solution at another forum as well.
I finished my first project!

But I have one last problem.
I want to show it off at other places, and I uploaded it to ImageShack.

The problem is, the image-host expands my movie to a big size.
I guess 120%. There's no option to view at 100%

Is there a way to stop this from happening?

I've tried at a number of ImageHosts' and this problem keeps repeating.

Do you know somewhere I can upload the SWF so it will show at forums?
(Forums who allow Flash, but don't have upload feature)
