I have heard about it and seen it but how do you do it?..please help

Just create a new text layer saying something like "Watermark ©" then lower the opacity and repeat it over the image.

You should know though, most 'photoshoppers' can quite easily remove watermarks...

Whatever you're using as a watermark, just turn the opacity way down :P
