Here's new one I started the night before last.... My anime buzz continues with some mech action.

i think the shiney shoulders are abit much (the silver/metalic pieces), they don't really blend well with the rest of the model

overall its great, you just need too "shiney down" the shoulders a little :)

Fair point, I was thinking that myself... :) I need to widen the parts behind the head as well. The fins are too close together

Excellent model asusal mate.

The one thing that sticks out to me is the two cones on the shoulders, just under the shiney bits. They dont seem part of the model, if you know what i mean? They dont connect in anyway, just seem to be put there. I think cause they overlap the orange colour.

coolio... i agree that the shoulders are a bit shiny tho..
it would probably beat my cyborg in a fight ;)

and agree with mooey on the cone things.. maybe if they had connectors sticking out... or wires maybe ;)

Create a sphere and turn it on it's side. Make it editable then delete the ends and the bottom half. to give you the basic shape then use scale to squash and stretch it into shape (constrained on axis).

All you have to do is copy and rotate and resize to make the top bulge. This way you keep the same angles in the curves...

Here's a little update.. sorted out a few shape problems and cleaned up the shoulder at the body so it's not just a straight joint

Not really mate. I've been snowed under with work and we've been trying to get the website back on line this week...

I did a little bit of detailing but nothing significant...
