Hi, I made a simple animation, but how do I save it as a gif so that I can use at as an avatar? I saved it as an .avi but it isn't very clear. Thanks.

I didn't think creating GIFs with c4d was very easy, but after looking a little bit it seems rather simple! There is no native support for gif format, so you have to work it a little bit to get from animation to gif. Go to your render settings, set everything up as you would normally for the animation, but for the output format choose 'Quicktime Photoshop'. This dumps each frame of the animation into a psd file and then use just use Image Ready to make the gif! Or if you use another gif program you can save the files as quicktime jpeg or png or something, but there's no good reason to not just use photoshop to stick it together. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I was thinking quicktime PSD would do it because I use Image Ready for gifs. Thanks a lot for the help once again. You are my hero. :hi:
