I took this on my lawn this evening after UPS finally delivered my camera and the cat wasn't cooperating, so I decided to take some still life shots. This one turned out the best, I think. I'll post some kitty photos once I get them matted

Yeah the sun was at a bad angle, I was just snapping before my batteries diedJust slightly too bright on the right

The cat picture turned out pretty good. As far as the lighting its always a trick to get it the way you want and sometimes you cant, so you have to take what you can get.
Wildlife is always hard to plan your attack shot. They seem to be in the worst lighted areas possible sometimes.

I have found this camera is beyond excellent at closeups (that one of my desk with the cookie crumbs doesn't count ) and I have some shots I'll post later
