I took this on my lawn this evening after UPS finally delivered my camera and the cat wasn't cooperating, so I decided to take some still life shots. This one turned out the best, I think. :P I'll post some kitty photos once I get them matted ;)

Yeah the sun was at a bad angle, I was just snapping before my batteries died :P

Rubber Duckie, the border is just to frame it and I was playing with sizes ;)

Well done Jaymz. I really :) that apple. Yummy :D

The cat picture turned out pretty good. As far as the lighting its always a trick to get it the way you want and sometimes you cant, so you have to take what you can get.

Wildlife is always hard to plan your attack shot. They seem to be in the worst lighted areas possible sometimes.

Anyways keep up the great work.

Best Regards,

Jason :)

Thank you Jason, yeah she was on the move so I snapped while I still could :D I have some more photos which I will share later once I get them resized down (had them setup to print an 8x10 :))

I have found this camera is beyond excellent at closeups (that one of my desk with the cookie crumbs doesn't count :)) and I have some shots I'll post later :)

I agree the apple is a really good shot, not so keen on the cat one, but thats probably because i don't like cats :D.

Your grass looks like it could do with a trim as well ;)
