Ok me in my infinite wisdom,, downloaded something to check whether someone has blocked me on msn. I have deleted the program now through control pannel>Add/remove programmes. Now whenever I talk to some one I send a message sayin, "get this program from ......" (I did not type this.) I have no idea how to stop this, I downloaded an anti-spyware program off microsoft.com, ran a virus scan. But nothing.

Any idea how to get rid of this?

hey, this has been going around. I can help you!

unfortuanly im not as smart as you and iddnt get it cause i cant detect SPYWARE, but never mind that :D

go to thier site and look in the faq. it has a link to a tool that removes that. Later on your will see is they keep your passwords and they are going to pretend they are you so chnage your password aswell!

and one last tip. if anyone ever sends a very formal advertising somthing on msn make sure you get them to re asure you themselves what they said. same with a file

Not me... basically cos i laughed at the idea when my friend's infected computer sent me the message.

My tactic was stop if from start up then uninstall it.. It seemed to work for a few people, but.. not for others :\ I really have no idea

Just download an spyware detector like spybot search and destroy or spyware doctor from download.com. That should get rid of it.
