Ok i was just practicing making sigs and such when i was up to the color, i whent to layer / new ajustment layer only to find that i am unable to click color balance... it is shaded and is not an option that i am able to do anymore?... I also looked at my spectrum witch is on RBG and when i move the arrow to any color liek red yellow it jsut shwos up as grey black or white... I have colors fine when i dont have anything open but as soon as i open a new file the colors go away... i really need to know how to fix this...

Check and be sure your image mode is set to RGB.

Somthing simalar happened to me, Go to your PS Icon > Right Click > Properties > Compatibility, make sure that PS is running in the right mode, and setting. Just a suggestion.

I don't know if this will help the problem, but one time I could not get into PS, and and checked that, fixed it and it worked.

start up a new document the same size, checking the colour mode is in RGB, then just drag and drop the layers into the new document, and the colours should be back again in colour
