RSS is a way of using XML to fit some certain rules. Okay, I suck at explanations. But in XML you can define your own elements (like <ben type="human" />). So in RSS you have a set of elements to use. And basically it's a way so that when someone updates their RSS feed on their server, everyone who is reading that RSS feed whether it's through a website, through a firefox extension, a standalone reader, or even a script they wrote to parse the feed (like how I did it in a tutorial for Twodded), it'll update on all of them because they are all just reading that feed off the server. RSS = Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication. It's a useful way to show news, or, in this case, new tutorials.
