Hey folks... first ever post... should probably checked if there was an introductions thread...will do that next! <3
Basically I am having a problem with CS2 (on mac osX 10.3.9)

Under my filters menu, there are the usual default filters (10-12 of them) but of those there are approx 4-5 that are 'greyed' out and therefore unusable! I am in a RGB document using sRGB colour settings...

anyone got any ideas?! it is driving me bonkers, had no problems with CS until I upgraded.... <3

thank you in advance!!

Welcome to P2L!

Check to see if you are in 8bit or 16bit mode, that makes a big difference, go to Image-->Mode-->8Bit/Channel and all the filters should work
