Welcome to the 3D Competition - VIII

Get yourself a time machine and step into the future!!! Model a futuristic version of present day items. It can be anything we see/use in our day-to-day activities or even new interesting concepts which may be of importance to the human race in the future!

• 1 Entry per person
• Any 3D program may be used
• Competition ends on Monday the 26th of September
• Must be started after the start of this competition

And as always, Good Luck to all the participants.

goodluck guys...

i think i am going to do a fairly hefty model.. and avoid texturing.. because i am definatly not a texturer... if i do get to the texturing that will be a plus

same thing with me shiv, i got some really cool ideas, i might try them out, we got alot of time so im going to use up most of it with this model

i havent got anything worth showing... and its stumbling to the about to be slapped and binned area..... to many mesh problems... would probably be easyer to start again :S.
might make something in a different program, - not c4d

i have decided to continue with the model that went
BLAH

the mesh is horrible tho.. i have absolutely no idea how it got so bad :S
oh well... gd practice.. and i will have a much nicer mesh than i had before the blah when its done..

and bongo better be entering


Edit- i wish i had saved a pic of the nasty mesh... the change is immense... still got along way to go.. i guess it with teach me for doing something... wish i knew what i did wrong

edit-2 = well i think i have pretty much finished cleaning up the mesh
at about half way through the mesh cleaning my object stood at 524 polies - 536 points
and after a nasty while of cleaning the mesh it is now 486 polies- 498 points... without losing any detail... in fact, it has made some areas much crisper and it is looking much nicer ... and now i go to sleep

I worked on this for plenty of time cause i didnt had lots of school today. Rendered also with HDRI & lil aa.
Still lots of more things to add
