Nothing to laugh about!
Very good for a second try I'd just keep doing more and they'll get better and better. Brushing, Blending & Colouring are the key points to a great sig.

Could do with more blending of the render imo, but otherwise, thats really nice.

very nice sig. I like it. For your second one it is good.like GrmRpr said, just work on more and more sigs, get a technique down and your will look even better. Lookin at the sig, it looks like a few brushes are over top the render, put the render at the top and maybe even do a feather around the render so it blends with the background.. Good job
