If this is not the right forum, feel free to point me in the right direction.

Ok, so I wanted to have some animation in my sig, and I thought I'd start out with something easy. I put am animated American Flag in the backround. So heres my problem. When I save it animated, the colors are different. What the heck?

I used photoshop to edit the sig to fit the area I wanted it to, and used Image Ready to get the animation set right. I chose "Save Optimized As" to save it as an animated gif.

Any ideas?

Save as gif dithered 128?

Simple, the .GIF format only supports 256 colors so if the color you isn't one of the 256 it will replace it with another color.
