Well i think someone should post this so i thought i would, well i think a big good job n thanks to the coder(s) that have restored p2l deserve it after so much time has been put in, its a shame someone had to hack it so thanks guys n gals!!

Actually I wouldnt call it hacking if they merely used a flaw in the boards coding to gain access to the tools needed to delete the users. Also, I believe Jay did most if not all of the work. Thanks dude for trying and doing so much.

ACTUALLY if u wanna get technical hacking means to gain access to something without permission, so therefore its classed as hacking

me + tysoft fixed it, serverseed also managed to stop alot of extra attacks via flaws in the ipb system

Yeah, we run mod_securtiy on Apache and my ruleset blocked several of the commands the attacker attempted. All things considered, we fared better than others would have in this situation.
