Very nice. Not sure about the text used in Robotic Hearth. I wish I could use bryce but I don't think my laptop can take it. The renders will take too long.

Ok, im going to sneak my input here.

I do not reccomend bryce. When you render something in bryce (from expericence) it turns out very repeative. Meaning, you can easy pick-out the fact that it was made in bryce. That, in one - lacks originality. Number 2, you are VERY restrained in bryce, basic objects. The only way to create a 'custom' object is deleting sections of it with another object (which is time consuming). Third, there arent many rendering options - Reflections, refractions, sky, AA, AS, etc. 3dsm or C4d (i prefer c4d) are, IMO, a much better choice. very, very detailed options for objects, deformities, rendering, etc.

i was thinking of buying a 3D render program.... i guess its between 3DSM or C4D.... maybe we should start a poll.

I like the render above though :)

I think bryce makes the best abstract renders, they have a nice clean not-so-realistic look to it, which abstracts shouldnt look photorealistic. It hurts me to see people who have C4D only use it for abstract renders...it's like having a Ferarri and only using it to drive to the mailbox to get the mail and back.
Your renders look pretty good, i like the last silver one.

:D I like the wallpapers you've done - they're great.

Also, there's a topic in the 3D Applications section about choosing a 3D program: http://www.pixel2lif...p?showtopic=919

I liked the first image in your last post. Other than that they all look kind of like other Bryce renders. Not to be rude.

:) Well you're in the right place - there are plenty of 3dsmax tutorials here :) . 3dsmax is supposed to be one of the best 3D applications (though I don't have it myself - d'oh) so it's worth sticking at it :) .
