yup, the gaps between the columns is the hard part :P getting them to be the same in all browsers is difficult for some reason too

actually, i just did simple paddings for that 8)
(and secretly a table because i dont want to spend hours positioning etc)

Yeah I decided to do this whith my site and it was going good till I looked in Mozzilla, everything was messed up :P This is one of the hardest ways to do it but its nicer even though the user really doesn't see much of a difference.

Also do you mean by using a table you did that to cenetr it? or what did you use it for?

If you need some I just ask :D

I you don't mind my asking, what is the purpose of removing all the tables and converting to CSS? Is it just for optimization or what?

well optimisation for you guys (it'll show up alot quicker thats for sure), and basically so the PHP load goes down... outputting 150kb of code and outputting 15kb of code is a big difference for PHP

it'll also make the PHP code alot cleaner for me to work with so its alot easier to develop in the future :)

css position is effectively filled now, with 4 people making css layouts of the main page in competition for the job...
