I'm guessing it'll be PHP, but what code (and how do I do it) do I use to put forum statistics on my main page?

And how do create a 'Latest Threads" type of thing?

:)

Where do I find that? I haven't bought my forum... Free version.

I want something like the bottom left corner of the P2L homepage.

If you're using a free version you are running a huge security risk.

What free version do you mean? ssi is easiest way. But that is only if you have IPB 2.x or more and if it's registered
