The backgounds to both are clashing, the second image I cannot make out what it is.

Like the ring but would be a lot better if you chose another background.

i think the key to making something like this is in the presentation mate.

something simple is not going to look good without a nice presentation.

some tips, would be to make a simple white background, and use hdri on the acual rings. try find some nice reference images to see what kind of presentation industry professionals would use...

i know its a small pic but something like this

Try changing the background, make it less reflective, then it should look cool. but the design is nive though
