NICE CHOICE!!! Personally, I would NEVER use windows again the rest of my life if I didn't have to! I'm sure you're going to love your mac... I actually bought a 17" powerbook for college this summer and I wouldn't trade it for anything! Have fun with your new mac!

If you do end up getting one, the one thing that you won't regret is that they have OS X!! hehehe It took some slight getting used to but after the initial start... its AWESOME! I'm waiting to see how the new intel-based macs shape up though my powerbook is a PPC one I just got it because I needed it at the time and didn't feel like waiting to see whether the intel macs were better or not. Oh, and also if you want my suggestion for a certain program such as a burning program or messenger client, feel free to post here or PM Me and I can tell you what a good app would be.

Thanks for the offer but it'll be about a year before I have to decide :P

that thing is cool...the only thingl acking is the ram, but I think I must require more RAM than anyone b/c having PS, Imageready, bryce, bridge and many firefox tabs can kill it lol. that is a great buy for a mac too. I f I werent so into gaming I would probably get one.

actually the RAM is fine, if you read some reviews and such, Mac's run faster even if ou equip both windows machines and macs with the exact same hardware just their own.
So yea, like when it says 512mb of ram on a mac, and 512mb of ram on windows, the mac will run faster...at least thats what I hear, and I believe it to thats why macs last so much longer...

We'll see....I hope this isnt a scam because I have already mailed the cashier's check. Once I get it then I would recommend using Ebay. I will be upgrading to 1GB of RAM soon.

oooooooo wow.... careful on that cashier's check thing, good luck! oh, and get your memory from crucial! (that's what I'd recommend at least) The only problem with ebay and buying a powerbook there is the warranty issue... unless you buy one that still has a warranty. I like to buy from apple just because of the sole fact that I'm on record there and I can purchase an extended warranty (which I did on my powerbook) Anyways, Good luck with your new powerbook when you get it!!

Bad move with the cashier's check? The description says its under warranty for another year.
