ok, i while ago i made this website for a clan of mine, it can be found here.
http://th-clan.ethh.net/index2.php (please ignore the sloppy coding) ;)
anyways, as you can see there is a music player right under the banner, now im redesigning the site and keeping the player, but i dont want the player to reload every time go to another page, i fixed this problem with the old layout by simply loading all links into an iframe, but thats not gonna work this time, i want to work with php includes this time and expand the site instead of thoe ugly scrollbars :hi:
so is there anyway to load links into a certain area of the site without reloading the banner/player?
i hope you guys know what im talking about...
help appriciated :)

edit: really sry, posted this in the wrong section, pls move this to general website design

Honestly, the only possible solution to your problem is frames. PHP being server side basically requires you to refresh everytime, or nothing will work. For example, you can make your index have a 1 px high/wide frame with the music in it... But i'm not garanteeing anything (or actually suggesting you do that, because i dislike frames).
You can try looking into flash, although i have no experience with that, it's an option.
