I got an idea what to do in C4D but after few steps I am stacked with probably very simple problem.... not for me ;)

I'd like to make a reflection of an image on more different shaped 3d objects.

Hope here is always somebody who knows.

Thanks in advance!

you should know how to make materials if not then here, at the bottom it says materials, click file > New material, then click on reflections and click the image button and browse for your image.

Yes, of course I know that but I always get wrapped objects with the image which I used for the reflecton.
I'd like to get an effect of projected image on 3d objects.

Thanks for answering l3lueMage!

That is so coool! I'll use it for something else.
Sorry, but that is about reflections between 3d objects. I need an effect of projection of an image on 3d objects.

Thanks again!

Sorry, it is my fault.
Anyways, here is an example.
I used just a simple light for objects in the picture. I need to have a projection
of an image instead of the light.

Hope this is a little bit more.

Nothing, but I need to see an image on objects same as lighted areas.
Just try to imagine a movie projection on 3 d objects. What would you see
on objects?
That is exactly what I am looking for.

Oooo I get it now, so you want it so its like the light is the projector, and the object is the screen? well you have got me there, Im not that advanced in cinema 4D, Sorry.

though here is an idea,
get the image you want and make it like 50% transparent or something, set the light behind it, and set the object on the otherside, just like a projector...that might work :D

Reflections will automatically reflect surrounding objects if there's enough reflection. If you want a particular reflecting in objects, you can use an option called "Environment" (you should use Fog option then as well to place a kind of volume inside the object).

Both options can be checked in the Basics Properties of a material.

Are you meaning what you see when you do something like an HDRI setup? Like if you have pots and pans on a table, and you want to see the reflection of the rest of the kitchen on the objects?
