So yea, no story for this one, just hope the theme of Acension points you in the direction I was thinking of..

Oh, yea and it took pretty much 7 tries (in terragen) to come up with something that made me happy :) started this friday as soon as I got home and have been working on it since pretty much now (sunday noon)

Specs
Terragen
Terrain: made in Terraformer2
Surfacing: had 2 overlays (one's obvious, the other isn't)
Atmosphere: very simple this time around
ofcourse not water in this one..
rendered at 4000x3400
Original Render: http://img107.images...lrender10sr.jpg

Photoshop
Thanks goes to my buddy n1ghtwish for going out of his way to show me some new techniques, huge help.
Probably spent close to 15 hours in PS,
and the psd..although it was saying 900mb in PS, it was only 432mb..

Thanks to everyone who gave me critique along the way, even if I liked it or not

oh, and compare the original render with the postworked one, you'll see some changes :wtf:

haha that looks so realistic, except for the part at the bottom, the cracks look kind of fake, but the rest is all so good! nice work :)

the foreground could do without the cracks, but the rest is beautiful! great strata and the tree/grass part looks very nice!
