Um i tried searching for this but nothing showed up that could help me...

Heres the problem... I got a .com domain and my forum is working fine and all but i wanna know how do i edit my frontpage?

Example: www.examplesite.com/forum thats where my forum is at... but i want to edit www.examplesite.com so that i have an enter sign so when someone click it, it will redirect them to the forum.

So how do I edit the front page of my website?

I already know how to redirect them to the forum but i just wanna know how to edit the front page.. Do i make a index.html? cause i tried that and it didnt work.. I hope this is enough information and someone could help me :)

you can also have index.htm index.asp index.php I know there are others but index.html or index.htm would be the best for starting out :)

i tried that =/ i uploaded it but it still says:

Should i be using an FTP to upload it or upload with file manager?

If i have to use an FTP which folder do i upload it in anyway?

if you're using cpanel, then you need to upload the index file to the public_html directory or www directory (www is just a shortcut to public_html on cpanel)

but basically upload the index file in the folder before you forum folder

e.g. you forum folder is in

root/forums

then u need to upload the index file in the root folder.

hope this helps.
