[Hacker-X]

i've made a banner and it is pretty empty considering only a logo and some text is on it, i was just wondering what i could put on it, i.e. announcements, latest tutorials, or something of the like, and before you ask this banner is for a graphics website

Try posting up the banner so we may see it otherwise it's hard to say...

it is kind of a surprise, so i'll give you the empty part of the banner

Here is some information:

• Total banner (heigth & width): H: 81px, W: 600px
  
• Total empty space of banner (heigth & width): H: 81px, W: 500px
  
• The banner and skin will be light and simplistic
  
• Banner will be used for a graphics website

Add Bold Letters in A Dark Red With the site name, under it in a skinny bright red your site description? Maybe some other stuff other than that im pretty blank on ideas.

I've already made the logo, i'm just asking what else i could put on the banner (ie. announcements bar)

well, since you're aiming for a clean site, why not leave the banner clean aswell
just leave the empty space as it is

Yeah, the banner empty will add to the cleanness... keep the site looking uncluttered.

or you could make a box and insert google adsense in there
