My wife and I went for a little hike friday morning up Deep Canyon in the Wellsville mountains. Talk about one heck of a hike. Its a very steep mountain. We didn't get all the way to the top. My wife was feeling pretty tired by the time we got past the half way mark. We will hike to the top next spring. As long as there is not to much snow. Anyways here is a few photos from the hike.

There was all kinds of neat colors up there.

Here is about half way up the canyon. You can see Logan City in the picture. We are about 1500 feet above the city right now. Logan city is about 4500 - 5000 feet above sea level. Thats a rough guess. I cant remember exactly. But it gives you an idea of how high up we really are. To the top its about 3000 feet above Logan.

Here is a beautiful scenic shot I took. I shot lots of neat shots.

It was neat to see some different types of wildlife while up there. This little chipmunk posed for the camera. He was a little shy. :)

Now this was neat to see. There is a little wasp of some kind coming in to attack that butterfly. You can see him flying right in between the wings. He hit the butterfly a few times. He was a fast little bugger. It reminded me of something I saw on National Geographics one time.

the second its the best in my opinion
I would love to have a big version of that to make a poster ;)

Great!! Like usual, these are awesome I love the butterfly one and the one with the squirrel or chipmunk.

Great hill, nice pictures. Love the animal shots, especially something delicate and frightend as a Butterfly.
