Trillian is the only way for IMs. Light on the system and has more functionality than any individual application. Plus, you can make it look and work however you wish

MSN 7.0 BETA like most BETAs have a few errors, but has some great upgrades such as Nudges which if someone is ignoring you it pops ur MSN Msg up on their screen vibrates it.

You always say everything sucks, yet never have any reasons why, and it's alway about things that so many people love...

Trillian is the best not just because you can script it to do anything but because it can run all messenger clients in one app and use much less system resources than the official applications. The new msn messenger is finally starting to put some bells and whistles in that have been in trillian for a while now, though they are still more buggy than trillians. Don't say something sucks when you either dont know what you're talking about because you haven't used it or you just prefer something else.

Well, MSN 7 is not usable now, 'cause of a sucurity flaw.

i'll be staying on msn 6.2 i think, i don't like the winks or the nudge feature and personally i wont be upgrading purely because of that reason

yeah i d/l a patch and it works.. it seems that msn servers are having problems right now.. not just for 7 but for 6.x as well

It's the bells and whistles that makes me hate most messengers these days.. ESPECIALLY msn messenger, trillian, icq, etc..

Only program i'd consider using is Miranda, that's a pretty decent little app.. but at the moment i'm kinda over the idea of everyone being able to bother me 24/7 so I don't use any IM at all If people want to contact me they can grab me on IRC or email me and i'll reply when i'm ready
