i am creating several rectanlges of different layers whilst creating a webpage layout.
The issue is, on a few occasions i have forgot to add a stroke to the rectangles. When i go back it does not allow me to add the stroke, how can i re-select the rectangle?
thanks

If you want to select the layer marquee style, hold down "control" and click on the layer, a selection will be made for that layer.

What do you think this is?

the situation is for my website which i think you have seen is that for each cointente box i created a new layer and then on that layer i used the marquee tool to create the content areas.
What i found was that if i added the fill and stroke option and then resized and positioned the content areas that the borders became thicker but not consistent around the area.
What i decided to do was create the cntent area with the marquee tool and fill, then resize and reposition the rectangle then i was gonna add the stroke so that it was 1px all the way round, how ever i cannot re-select the rectangle created with the marquee tool but can select the layer which when i change the stroke seems to change the a layer that covers the whole of the canvas.
Where am i going wrong, tried to read up about the marquee tool but nothing i have seen realy helps with this situation.
thanks

Tried that and works perfect, as a noob was never aware of that option but that does the trick.
thanks
