Okay, So I saw this commercial where they were trying to sell Dell computers and showing off all its cool stuff, and they were like look, it plays 3 movies and no lag, Well I went to try it and My computer is 4 years old, check out the results :P

Computers getting cheaper? or they just trying to rip people off with computers that cost the same as the ones 4 years ago but cost more, the one they were showing had exact same stuff as mine but 512MB of ram instead of 1GB like mine, and they were selling it for $400.00 more...4 years later...I was like :) and yes mine is dell also :D

I myself will never in myl ife by a pre-built computer, I like to dream about owning an Alienware, but thats not worth the cost. I'd rather build it myself with EVERYthing I want in it. The price increase may be a result of upgraded hardware quality.

I completely agree with you. I would never see myself buying a pre-built either. Why not custom build it the way you want it and have some fun in the process. :)

I will never buy myself a Prebee, unless it's a laptop.
I don't have much money, so I build what I can. I'm gonna upgrade my mobo to a newer ASUS (with PCI-E so I can use my new nVidia 8100 [Got in on it. Gotta test the crap out of it]). My current specs are:

Intel P4 3.2 GHz Socket T (LGA 775) CPU
PC2700 DDR ValuRam
ASUS P5P800 motherboard
3xSeagate Barracuda 80GB HDD's
LITEON 52x24x52x CD-R
Toshiba 4x DVD-RW
XFX nVidia GeForce FX 5700LE (256 mb)
and some off-brand 17" monitor
