Yesterday firefox crashed and took my PC with it for some reason, when i booted back up ALL my bookmarks and everyting had vanished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This has happened before but i managed to get them back by i think switching user profiles, i think the crash switched profiles or something, i just dont know.
Does anyone know how to switch profiles i have forgotten?

BTW: I tried system restore it didnt work in retrieving th bookmarks.

Right click on the firefox shortcut on your desktop/wherever you got a shotcut
Select properties
select shortcut tab
In the target dialog box append the following after the quotes.
--profilemanager
Click Apply/Ok.
Then start up firefox and you have your profile manager.
Also you can go to your firefox profile folder directly rename bookmarks.bak too bookmarks.html and you get your bookmarks back.
