Alright another question that will propably take 2 seconds to work out for you but not for me because im a little stumped.

When i first started using 3dsmax7 i had these lovely little green, blue and red axis points on the o,o,o of all my models and objects.. it was easy to rotate and accuratley move them... but!

they are now gone for some unkown reason and im left with 2 red lines for X, and Y and a grey one Z??

Does anybody have any idea what i have done or how i can get them back... at this moment im not able to rotate a model other than horizontaly...

thanks <3

if you have an item SELECTED only, you have red and gray, IF you use select and move, you have the colorful arrows.
remember 1 arrow select = plain jane axis
4 arrow select(and move) = colorful axis

The hot key for the axis isn't W the hot keys x press that and i promise you they will appear once again, it would be a handy thing to remember cause i got confused for a couple of days myself with that problem.
