I just found a site with Windows Live Messenger and has a few other things they are coming out with, personally I think WLM will be the best messenger yet.... it has lots of features that they have listed, including talking to friends through messenger that are playing xboxlive, use voice or do whatever...They have a mail thing also like outlook and thunderbird...I think thats what it is

Whilst MSN Messenger Live, or MSN Messenger 8 looks amazing - hopefully they'll allow us to strip off all the crappy features. From the looks of things its quite simular to GTalk (as its quite simple looking, interface wise its simular and they've also finally got a good look to it)

GTalk all the way - unless MSN ACTUALLY removes all the cloggy rubbish from it, including the pointless integration of MSN search into the message window that is

Not yet, some of the stuff like the e-mail is downloadable, but the beta is invite only by the people working on it...some people have it as beta but if they are only letting a few try I dont think I want to, must have lots of bugs lol...

just installed the BETA and un-installed it within seconds, looks like they designed it for a 10 year old

it frustrates me seeing the poor interface design of microsoft, this sort of style 'went out' about 3 years ago

more features to integrate every possible MS application together... and if you want to use a simpler version of MS? Nope, forced upgrade... gawd!!!!

its been locked off by MS now, they've finally come up with a proper detection of non-beta customers

honestly with the amount of geniuses at MS i'm suprised they continously release this rubbish, in Vista they 'may' have it right and it looks like they are finally doing something with Office and solitare (yes, a huge part of MS)..

but come on, they need to realise their audience isn't 10-15 year olds and start supporting the mature user

The new mail beta (now Windows Live mail beta) rocks! I don't even open up Gmail anymore. It auto-forwards all email to my hotmail address and I check it there

Meh, window live sucks. I think we should use Google's web-based applicants just to spite and mock MS, because you just can't have one company dominate the software industry.
