I laughed at the opening sentence describing him glued to a toilet seat because it's quite a strange thing to happen to someone but that soon stopped when I read about him passing out and suffering from a heart condition.

just saw this on another forum! just shows you that you can sue for anything in america.

While in health class last year, we learned that even if you help a person out of an accident or even just put something around a wound of someone they can sue you, basically, if you even touch someone they can sue you here...its scary >_<

Well I hope this guy wins, if your on the premises and your injured of course you have a right to sue. Its their responsibility to protect customers, has nothing to do with being in America thats anywhere.

Uhmm, wouldn't the person feel something to be wrong with the toilet seat when sitting down? Probably self inflicted.

I personally don't like using public washrooms, I thought it was standard practice to layer the toilet seat with toilet paper before sitting down, think about the germs eeeeew

How long was that person sitting on there, for that glue to have instant sticky power?

This wasn't the reason that he's sued them... he sued them because they didn't take him seriously and let him sit there for about 15 minutes...

it has nothing to do with the fact that he was actually glued to the toilet in their store, probably some fool put the glue there, not someone from the company.

I agree with you that you have the right to sue, good thing this man is sueing them for the right reason.

Well one good thing was were he got trapped, I mean think about it, if he gets scared and [removed] his pants...its ok hes on a toliet
