Recently aquired 3DS max 7 and my first render is an absolute kick ass spikey tutorial render. It's the start of many renders just thought id post up my first attempt at proper 3d work. :)

wow just noticed how bad the quality is on that. :|

Yeah the quality isn't that good, but the render itself is nice. At least for a first it's not bad, and I would probably use it if the quality was better. Which means, you did a good job.

The quality is weak b/c .JPG compression does that to red...try saving it as a .png, maybe it'lll help....the render looks pretty nice though!

Quality ruins it tho.

yea, Funkysoul has given me some info so quality wont be a problem next time, currently doing another tut with a great outcome, thanks to funkysoul again for that ;)

Thanks for the comments guys, hopefully it wont be all spikey renders.
