Hi, these are a few of the icons I'm making for a website:

Posted Image

The phone and letter are PS custom shapes but the camera I drew myself. There are about 8 or 9 in total and I'll show them all when the site is complete.

Edit: Sorry about the bad cropping, just noticed it.

They look really good, but I'm not too fond of the drop-shadow (what it looks like to me) around them.

It's not a drop shadow, it's some lines I drew and gausian blurred to get a drop shadow look manually. I find it usually looks better with a dark area between the image and it's "reflection".

To get a reflection here's what I did:
- I already had each image in a layer set, so I duplicated the layer set and merged everything inside to make one layer
- I then flipped this layer and moved it down so it's top would almost touch the bottom of the image.
- Used the eclipse selection tool set with a feather of 15px to select about 3/4 of the reflection image, and then deleted it, this gaves a fade effect to it, not an abrupt cut off.
- Transformed and squashed the reflected image a bit.

And that's it. Thanks everyone.
