I've changed your image to a link as it was breaking the layout slightly :P

nice rendering :)

try work on the shadows, maybe tick the 'smooth surface shadows' box just below...

maybe also bump up the GI a bit, its looking a little dark for a room in the day.

sorry mate, i obviously wasnt looking hard enough lol...

leave it ticked, its just the shadows dont look too smooth?

do you have any other lights in your scene? i usually add a direct light through the windows with vray shadows and smooth surface shadows ticked, it gives less defined shadow making it look more realistic. aswell as the vray light.

im not suprised that it took 30 minutes, its pretty grapphicallly intense and accurate, sometimes images take that long to render, i once batch rendered an animation for a friend, and it took nearly 4 days

its (probably) the VRay light and GI that are bumping the render times up actually, its not a very detailed model. also -from my own experiences- most likely something to do with the wooden material on the floor...

anyways 14minutes isnt exactly a disgustingly long time for a room to be rendered with the lighting he is using...
