Hello i am using Dreamweaver and today i have gone to upload my site.

I have entered all the details and tested, this works but when i go to connect and put files i get an ftp error.

Anyone any ideas as t what i may have done wrong?

get a new ftp client

WS_FTP Pro is good but i costs money

or make sure that you that you site server isnt currently having problems making you unable to upload you files

Filezilla is a good FTP client, and it's free <3

so i shouldnt be using dreamweaver to upload then?

You can use Dreamweaver, but I'd recomend you to use a real FTP client. They don't usually fail as much as the Dreamweaver one...

Just used Filezilla and connected first time, new problem has arisen that my header images is not showing but its located where the background image is and that works? any ideas

any ftp clients for the mac?

ok this sometimes happens to me

first upload you index file and make sure all of the images are linked to the folder specified on the ftp client like images/

Then you have to REUPLOAD you index file, dont know why but i always have had to
