There are books on the market with a lot (and i mean a lot) off patterns like these in it. Scan them in and trace them with the pen tool.
I'll check at home if i've still got my designs of my earliar days, and get a downloadable version of some of them if they survived my laptop-crash of 2003.

k, most of them were lost,
but those i found on a backup CD i made (not really good ones, but hey, its better then nothing), i will try to zip them and put it on my ugly site to download this afternoon. (wed 23/11, 10.55 am i wrote this local time)
