I'm having some difficulty with this issue. I'm doing the logo tutorial on GreyCobra. I made a logo using photoshop. When I finished I went to File>Export>Illustrator and saved it as a .ai file.

The instructions then tell me to open C4D and then open up the .ai file. It should then appear in the object manager so that I can apply an Extrude NURB to it. Unfortunately, when I open the .ai file, nothing happens. The name of the document I am working on displays the name of the file, but nothing appears on the object manager. As a result I cannot apply the extrude NURB and hece, I see nothing at all. Please help me on this one. It's for a competition. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance.

For others who wonder the same thing, you have to open the vector path as an object, not a file. Go to your objects panel and do a File->open, dont do a file->open from the main menu at the top left of the workspace.
