Not sure if you tried this or not, but certain things will stay backed up on your system because of your system restore if you have windows xp.

If you do have windows xp or pro, right click on your my computer and click properties and select the tab for System Restore and you will notice a box that says Turn off system restores on all drives. Put a check in that box then go delete that file that wont go away and restart your computer after you delete it.

Then go back and uncheck that system restore box and it should have removed the file for good.

I hope this helps.

Google is a brilliant tool when you have viruses and spware amazing what you can find <3

You need to run HijackThis and post your log at http://castlecops.com/ as there could be several variations of this pest.

Download HijackThis

http://www.merijn.or.../hijackthis.zip

Run it and click on Scan.

Let it run to completion.

Do not remove anything in there yet as not all items are bad.

Then when it is finished click on Save log.
A screen will pop up with Save logfile... Click on Save.
Notepad will open up.
This is the full log that is needed to copy and create a new topic in that forum above they will go through your log and give you instructions what to remove and probably tell you if you have other weird stuff.
