Im having problems with dreamweaver using the sliced template in photoshop I made.
Here is what happens,
1. I make 3 slices in photoshop http://inevmaps.hl2f...ages/psimg1.jpg
2. I save it for the web and save all user slices and auto slices
3. I open the webpage PS created up in DreamWeaver and take the 3 boxes I sliced and deleted them and set it as a backround in those boxes so I could type in them.
4. When I get to the bigest box and do it, it looks like this

How do I fix it from doing this?

This is why you don't slice in Photoshop!

Or, look through Twodded and code in XHMTL/CSS.

When you create the "paragraph" or your text field, look at the bottom. It should say "fill" or something, and have white selected in a little box. Click the box, then go to the top of the little window thing and click "no fill" or the little line through the box. That should work...

Not the same problem, but since it was just a few posts down, i figured you might want to look at it, and reconsider using photoshop.

Get into Raw HTML coding not dreamweaver as you can't trust what it'll look like in live browser.
Looks like you could use an expandable table for your layout or you could re-configure the height so it looks good, that is if you wish to carry on using Dreamweaver and also i suggest you use www.Slicingguide.com

I heard that if you do all the slicing in ImageReady it wont screw up in dreamweaver, is this true?

Make slices of the border then delete the center image so you still have the border

Imageready is photoshop, just with a few different features and a different look.
So slicing it in there won't be any different then slicing in photoshop.

You just have to save it as a different rearranged source
