hey, is it possible to scale a table cell background 200% for example, preferable with css :lol:

You can't scale a bg image without some kind of dynamic client side language like javascript.

You can try giving the using the z-index feature of css and use posisitioning on the image to move the sides of the image as the window resizes. But that's more comlpicated then i'm willing to attempt to explain.

i heard there's a background image-scale function in css3

css3 is gonna get crazy with their functions! its gonna be off the chizzle! :D

anyway, i do got a tutorial on that background stretching stuff, but using 200% would make a scrollbar both verical and horizontal which would be pretty nasty.

if your talking about zooming in on an image for 200% but not changing the image size, then the answer's no.
