Hi guys, I want to start my own forum. Can anyone tell me a good website with forum tutorials?

It depends what type of forum you are getting. If you buy IPB, there are a lot of tutorials regarding modding and some for skinning at the IPB site, and there are plenty of mods/skins at Invisionize :D

I believe he wants to write his own forum, not download a pre-made one.

As for tutorials, i believe there are a couple, just do a search of the database.
Also, if you're planning on using a tutorial to make a forum, you probably don't have enough experience to make one. I'd recommend starting off with a simple comment system/shoutbox, and then working your way up from there.

And do a forum search, this question has been asked before (i believe there's a pretty in depth topic on this over at 13dots in their design and coding section).

I would recommend using PHP and MYSQL. I got to the basics on my old "twodded" tutorial, which I am working on finishing right now. It wont make a complete forum, and I am still working on it so:P.
