Hey well pretty simple really im looking for a code that will place aticals on my website from my forum.

Now before u say use ssi.php. This artical code is like the artical content box u got on your website (P2P) on the right.

im using the ssi.php atm for forum stats and news but the news is taken up valuable content space and i'd prefur to show just the New topic and a bit of the message like so:

1. Topic 1: little bit... READ MORE
2. Topic 2: little bit... READ MORE.

and when people click read more it loads the topic in the forum. it will be in a content box above the main content box (refer to picture)

http://www.sopranogf...s/template1.JPG <--- website template

Latest News box will have the News topics from the forum.

Thanks you i hope theres something out there.

Try searching for mods for the forum software that you are using wheter they would be unofficial or official mods for that software either way thats what you should be looking for.

Mods are usually easy to intergrate however these days people seem to be having troubles with everything to give us a shout once you downloaded the correct mod to work as a feed from your forum.

well you would use an SQL statement with a Limit clause to pull 'x' number of articles from the table then use a bit of php to just format and link it all

Well to explian it simpler, depending on your software, you will need to do a "MYSQL_QUERY", then in it do : Limit 0,5. 5 thread titles selected. look it up on php.net
